Candidates must apply online through the new official SSC website. The procedure involves two parts:
- Part-I: One-Time Registration (OTR):
- Visit the new SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
- Click on “Login or Register Now”.
- Provide basic details like Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Matriculation details.
- Verify your Mobile Number and Email ID via OTP.
- Your Registration Number and Password will be generated.
- Part-II: Online Application Form:
- Log in using your Registration Number and password.
- Find the “Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025” link under the ‘Live Exam’ section and click ‘Apply’.
- Your personal details will be auto-filled from your OTR.
- Provide preferences for Examination Centers.
- Capture a live photograph using your webcam. Ensure a plain background, good lighting, and no caps, masks, or spectacles.
- Upload a scanned copy of your signature (10-20 KB, JPEG/JPG format).
- Complete the declaration and submit the application.
