🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualification for All Posts:
Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent in the preceding degree and an excellent academic record throughout. Candidates must have a strong record of research publications in Q1 journals.

Position-Specific Requirements:

1. Assistant Professor Grade-II:
   • Ph.D. with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
2. Assistant Professor Grade-I:
   • At least 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience after Ph.D.
3. Associate Professor:
   • Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
4. Professor:
   • Minimum 10 years experience after Ph.D., with at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IIMs, or reputed universities.

Department-Specific Criteria:

• Engineering Depts (Civil, Chemical, CSE, EE, Mechanical, Physics): Typically require a B.Tech/BE/BS in the relevant engineering discipline in addition to the Ph.D.
• Biomedical Engineering: Requires UG/PG in Engineering (BME, EE, CSE, Mech, etc.) or Medical streams (MBBS/BDS).
• Design: PhD in Design/Creative Arts with a portfolio of creative work.
• Liberal Arts: Specializations in ELT, Linguistics, Economics, or Development Studies.
