🎓 Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Government Jobs in Manipur under CAU must meet the following criteria:
1. Chairman & Professor
- Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in the relevant subject.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the relevant subject (8 years as Assoc. Prof/Scientist).
- Research: Minimum 10 publications with high NAAS Impact Factor.
2. Associate Professor
- Education: Doctoral degree in relevant subject.
- Experience: 8 years of experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist.
- Research: Contribution to research/teaching evidenced by published work.
3. Assistant Professor
- Education: Master’s degree with 55% marks + NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR.
- Alternative: Ph.D. degree holders in relevant subjects are exempted from NET.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Govt Servants).
Note: For Veterinary Sciences, registration with the State/Veterinary Council of India is mandatory.
