General Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject, plus NET/SET/SLET or a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline, a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, and a minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience with evidence of published work.
- Director / Librarian: Ph.D. degree, Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks, and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
- A relaxation of 5% in marks is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms. For detailed, post-specific qualifications, please refer to the official notification.
Application Procedure
- Candidates must apply online through the official Jammu University recruitment portal.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 2150/- through the online gateway. PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.
- Fill in all the required details carefully, including academic qualifications, experience, and publications.
