UPHESC Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) Recruitment 2025 (Advt. No. 51 – Revised)
The Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission (UPHESC), Prayagraj, invites online applications for the post of Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) in various non-government aided degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh. This is a revised notification specifically for 107 B.Ed. posts under Advertisement No. 51, following directives from the Hon’ble High Court regarding NCTE norms. Candidates who previously applied for B.Ed. posts under the original Advt. No. 51 must reapply but are exempt from fee payment.

Academic Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications as of 31.08.2022:
Postgraduate degree (M.Ed.) with a minimum of 55% marks.
OR
Postgraduate degree (M.A. in Education) with a minimum of 55% marks AND B.Ed./B.El.Ed. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.AND
Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by the UGC, or a similar test accredited by the UGC (like SLET/SET).
OR
Possess a Ph.D. degree in Education in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time.

Written Examination: 200 Marks (General Knowledge: 60 Marks + Optional Subject – B.Ed.: 140 Marks)
Interview: 30 Marks
Merit will be prepared based on a total of 230 marks.
