Applications are invited in a plain paper/email for the position of a JRF/Research Personnel to work on the SERB-sponsored computational catalysis research project entitled “Quantum Mechanical Exploration of Alkanes to Alkenes Formation via Catalytic Dehydrogenation and Oxidative Dehydrogenation Over Metal and Metal Oxide Catalysts: A New Initiative to Convert Plastics into Fuel” under the supervision of Dr. Biplab Rajbanshi, Department of Chemistry, Visva-Bharati.
- JRF/Research Personnel (01)
- JRF: M. Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks and qualified in NET/GATE.
- Research Personnel: M. Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks
- JRF: Rs. 31,000/-per month
- Research Personnel: Rs. 25,000/- per month
- HRA and Medical Allowances as per SERB and Visva-Bharati rules.
The project is tenable up to February 2026, depending on the progress of the project and the continuation of the fund. Other terms and conditions will be governed by SERB and VisvaBharati rules.
