💰 Pay Level / Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary during the five-year probation period.

  • Fixed Salary: ₹ 52,000/- per month (Rupees Fifty-Two Thousand Only) for the first five years.
  • Post-Probation: After successful completion of the five-year term, the ‘Adhyapak Sahayak’ will be absorbed into the prevalent regular pay scale of the Government of Gujarat.

✅ Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications as per UGC Regulations 2018 and relevant Government of Gujarat resolutions. All qualifications must be acquired before the last date of application.

1. General Qualification (For Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, etc.)

  • A Master’s degree with 50% marks (after 5% relaxation for PwD candidates) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a similar test like SLET/SET.
  • OR
  • A Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016). Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 (QS, THE, ARWU) are also eligible.

2. Qualification for Education (B.Ed.) Colleges

  • A Master’s Degree in a concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • An M.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Cleared the NET/SLET/SET in Education. Ph.D. holders are exempt as per norms.

3. Qualification for Rural Extension (B.R.S. Colleges)

  • Graduate Degree: BRS/B.Sc. (Agriculture) Extension/BSW.
  • Post Graduate Degree: MRS/M.Sc. (Agriculture) Extension/MSW.
  • NET/SLET passed in Agriculture/Rural Studies or a Ph.D. in Rural Studies/Social Work/Agriculture Extension.

Important Notes:

  • A 5% relaxation in marks (from 55% to 50%) is applicable for PwD candidates at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
  • Candidates must have a disability of 40% or more with a valid UDID card or certificate.
  • Written, spoken, and reading knowledge of the Gujarati language is necessary.
