🎓 Qualification
The minimum qualifications vary by discipline and post. A summary is provided below:
- For Engineering & Technology:
- Assistant Professor: B.E./B.Tech. & M.E./M.Tech. in a relevant branch with First Class in any one of the degrees.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level, plus a minimum of 8 years of experience (at least 2 years post-Ph.D.) and 6 research publications.
- Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level, plus a minimum of 10 years of experience (at least 3 years as Associate Professor) and a strong publication/research guidance record.
- For Management:
- Assistant Professor: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree (MBA/PGDM, etc.) with First Class, two years of professional experience, and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. qualification.
- For Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, etc.):
- Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject and must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
- For Pharmacy:
- Assistant Professor: First Class B.Pharm, registration as a pharmacist, and M.Pharm in the appropriate specialization.
- For Education (ITEP):
- Assistant Professor: Post Graduate degree (55% marks) in the concerned subject (English/Chemistry/Physics/Maths), B.Ed. degree (55% marks), and NET/SLET or Ph.D. in Education/concerned subject.
